Biography

Lorenza Anceschi aka SVM, is a Neapolitan singer-songwriter and journalist, born in 1995. She grew up between Portici and Ercolano, both Neapolitan provinces, she moved to Milan at the age of 18 to undertake university studies. She took her first steps in the world of music at the end of 2018 working on a combination of "black" music and the folklore of the Neapolitan sound. On 22 March 2019 she made her debut in the Italian hip-hop scene with an unreleased song entitled "Nun me 'mporta", produced by Larry Joule and last December with the single "Dint' o For'" followed in January by "Nu Sgarr".
The latest work, "Addu Me", published on 6 August 2020, sees the participation of another Neapolitan artist, Livio Cori, and the production of Big Fish.
The song, available on all digital platforms, tells of the end of a love story in the perfect Neapolitan imaginary, the densest source of inspiration for the artists who grew up in the shadow of Vesuvius. Together with Livio Cori, in “Addu Me” SVM tells of a vis-a-vis between two lovers of the past, who continue to look for each other, only to get miserably lost again.
