Biography

Stella Pecollo is a multifaceted artist with work experience both in Italy and in the UK and USA. After studying acting in Milan, Rome and Los Angeles, Stella works in film and on TV with directors of the caliber of Massimo Venier ("Il giorno in più"), Umberto Riccioni Carteni ("Studio Illegale") and Roberta Torre ("Riccardo va all’inferno") to then expand her experience in international productions such as the renowned TV series "Hollyoaks Later" (Channel 4 - UK) and the film directed by Michael Hoffman "Gore" (Netflix - USA).
She has worked alongside actors of the caliber of Kevin Spacey and Willem Dafoe, in the film “Siberia”, directed by Abel Ferrara and coming out soon.
In addition to being a film and TV actress, Stella is a well-rounded performer and performs on national musical tours such as "Svegliati e Sogna", directed by Marco Mattolini and "Biancaneve il musical", as well as joining of the renowned company of the "Cirque Du Soleil" as physical actor.
Stella plays "Violante", one of the 4 protagonists of the "Extravergine" TV series produced by Publispei and Fox Italy, broadcast from October 2019 and will be on the stage at "La fabbrica del vapore" in Milan in the role of MrsGlup in "La fabbrica di cioccolato”, the first Italian production of the mammoth musical based on the film of the same name.
In May 2020 her first book published by Sparling and Kupher "IO SONO BELLA. LA LEGGEREZZA NON È UNA QUESTIONE DI PESO" is released..
A novel that celebrates uniqueness and beauty, told in an ironic, funny and edgy way, by a woman who, after working on herself, decided to shout her truth to the world: I am beautiful!
Stella has imposed herself, clashing with the canons imposed by society and opposing body shaming.
