Biography

Pietro Turano was born in Rome in 1997 and from an early age he began his training as an actor, supported by his father painter and sculptor and by his mother now resigned to a family of artists.
In 2015 the first starring role in the short "Il re della collina" and the participation in the documentary "Tutti Fuori" by Massimo Latini, presented at the Turin Film Festival. The following year, the first theatrical debut together with Dante Antonelli, with which he will debut again in October 2019 in the frame of the RomaEuropa Festival for "Atto di adorazione". Since 2018, he has been in the cast of "SKAM Italia", a remake of the Norwegian series of the same name and among the most loved Italian series in the world. Pietro is an activist committed to LGBT + rights as Arcigay national councilor and Vice President of Arcigay Rome where he mainly deals with young people, schools and universities, health and international relations. He is also part of the staff of Gay Center, Gay Help Line and Lazio Pride.
