Biography

The actress has already received many accolades despite her young age. Born in Milan, after graduating from the Cesare Beccaria high school, she attended the State University of Milan, graduating in philosophy. Her breakthrough role came with Paolo Virzì‘s "Human Capital", where she was cast a Serena Ossola, the daughter of the character played by Fabrizio Bentivoglio. Her performance garnered a Guglielmo Biraghi Award during the Nastri d'Argento 2014, the Alida Valli Prize of the Bari International Film Festival and a nomination at the Ciak d'Oro for best supporting actress.

In the same year Matilde made her television debut appearing in an episode of "Gomorrah - The series". She has also appeared in “Solo per il weekend”, “Belli di papà” and “A Safe Place”. The first is a debut film in which she stars alongside Alessandro Roja and Stefano Fresi in the chronicle of 48 crazy hours, while in the second - directed by Guido Chiesa – she stars alongside Diego Abatantuono. The third is the story of a father-son relationship that offers the actress the opportunity to share the screen with Marco D'Amore. She returned on TV in Riccardo Milani’s, miniseries "Di padre in figlia". The director will also direct it her in the 2017 film "Mamma o papà?", a comedy with Antonio Albanese and Paola Cortellesi. Winner of the Aphrodite Award for best emerging actress, she joined Fabio Fazio in the "Rischiatutto" program. She was chosen by Alessandro D'Alatri to be one of the female protagonists of "The Startup". In 2018 she starred in the "Moschettieri del Re" directed by Giovanni Veronesi and in "Ricchi di fantasia" directed by Francesco Micciché with Sabrina Ferilli and Sergio Castellitto. 2019 sees her once again on the big screen with "Gli uomini d’oro", directed by Vincenzo Alfieri.
Waiting to resume filming the last episodes of "DOC - Nelle tue mani", the Raiuno hit series, we find the young actress in "È per il tuo bene", the new comedy by Rolando Ravello available on Prime Video.
