Biography
Giacomo Ferrara, born in Villamagna, Abruzzo, grew up in the Majella range, where his parents managed a hotel. He studied at the liceo della comunicazione (high school with specialization in communication) in Chieti and later moved to Rome where he attended the “Corrado Pani” academy. There he met Alessandro Prete, his acting coach, with whom he still collaborates. In 2015, he debuted in cinema in the comedy directed by Riccardo Rossi "La prima volta di mia figlia" and in the same year he took part in "Suburra", a film directed by Stefano Sollima. 2017 was an important year for Giacomo: he was lead actor in the film "Guarda in Alto" by Fulvio Risuleo, presented at the Rome Film Fest, he was cast in "Il permesso – 48 ore fuori" by Claudio Amendola and in the first Netflix original Italian production "Suburra – La serie", where he performed the role of Spadino. In 2019, the second season of "Suburra – La serie" was broadcast.
