FRANCESCA SCALISI
Francesca Scalisi is a film director and editor from Italy. She is the co-founder of DOK MOBILE, a film production company based in Fribourg, Switzerland. Her work was shown at film festivals all over the world, such as the Rotterdam International Film Festival, San Francisco Film Festival, Brooklyn Film Festival, Hot Docs, IDFA, Vision du Réel. She has recently completed "Black Line", a short which pushes the boundaries of the documentary form and which was screened at more than 50 international film festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand Festival International du Court Métrage, Tampere, Palm Springs International ShortFest, Documenta Madrid, Grimstad, DOC NY. Francesca is also the artistic director and one of the creators of the Flying Film Festival, the first documentary festival held entirely in the air, in partnership with SWISS International Air Lines, with the aim of promoting short-films to a wider audience.
