Synopsis
In each episode of the “International Children’s Songs”, a folk song from another country is illustrated. In this film, in a dream the bed becomes a ship with which the Chinese girl and her panda plush animal experience a little adventure in the clouds.

Maya was born in Hamburg in 1963. She studied Visual communication at the University of Arts (HdK) in Berlin. In 1988, she was a trainee at the animation studio Thilo Graf Rothkirch/Cartoon Film. Since 1989 she worked in different roles (director, designer and head of production) on animated series such as "Lisa and Paul" (1989), "Erste Liebe" (1990), "The Journey" (1992), "Beastow Behavior" (1994), "Feodor" (1997), "Tobi, Das Kleine Ungeheuer" (1999), "Lena und Paul" (1999), "Lauras Stern" (2000), "Der Kleine Eisbär" (2001) and as head of production on the films "Tobias Totz und Sein Löwe" (1997), "Der Kleine Eisbär" (1999), "Lauras Stern" (2004) and "Kleiner Dodo" (2008), screened and awarded in several international children film festivals.
