CIRO D'EMILIO
Ciro D'Emilio was born in Pompeii. He studied cinema in Rome at Roma Tre University. In 2007 he wrote, produced and directed "The Other", a short film about xenophobia, winner of many national and international awards. In the following years Ciro produced and directed many Italian hip hop music videos. In 2011 he founded, with Manuela Ianniello, the Road To Pictures Film company and produced his second short film, "Massimo". In 2013, he directed his third short film, "Coming Back", and worked as assistant director on "Gomorra - La Serie", with the directors Stefano Sollima, Claudio Cupellini and Francesca Comencini. In 2017, he produced and directed the short film "It's Raining", which was selected in more than 60 national and international festivals, including 4 Oscar Qualifying festivals, and winning many awards. In 2018, he directed his first feature film, "If Life Give You Lemons".
