Synopsis
Irma is only 18, but she is already a boxing champion. Her success is a remarkable achievement for a girl who grew up in one of the most violent towns in the Naples province. However, the more she succeeds in her sporting journey, the more fragile she is in her inner voyage. She spends months in training retreats far from home, under pressure. She begins to have doubts: is it worth or not to give up on her youth for her goals? Master Lucio is 78 years old, he was her first coach and the only true father figure for Irma. He knows better than others the destructive nature of expectations towards young champions. Master of life as well as a boxing teacher, from the moment he raises Irma’s arm as a sign of victory at the Olympic qualifiers, he knows that her life will never be the same.
