Roberto Catani was born in Jesi, Italy, in 1965. He is an illustrator and animator. Since 1989 he has taught Animated drawing at the Istituto Statale d’Arte in Urbino. He has been making animated films since 1995, for which he has obtained awards worldwide. Among his short films: "La funambola" (2002) and "La testa tra le nuvole" (2013), screened in Giffoni in 2014.
