Biography

Born and raised in Rome, nephew of Vittorio and son of Christian, after a brief experience as an actor, he decided to devote himself completely to his greatest passion, directing. He chose to study away from home and moved to Los Angeles, graduating with honors from the USC - University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts. Back in Italy, he started to gain experience with advertising, directing several commercials. He worked as assistant director of Pupi Avati in the film "Una sconfinata giovinezza". In 2008, his first direction with "Parlami di me". Four years later he directed and produced a medium-length film, "La donna giusta", while the following year he collaborated on the screenplay for the "Racconto Dei Racconti - Tale of Tales" by Matteo Garrone. Also in 2013 he wrote, directed, and produced the short film "Freiheit" (for the musical project "The Bush" by Diego Buongiorno) and "Ora o mai", with Tea Falco.

In 2014 he entered the world of fashion video with "L’errore", a short film presented at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. The short film won the Nastro d’Argento for Best Director, a nomination for the David di Donatello and the Best Advertising award at the Diane Pernet festival ASVOFF, "A Shaded View on Fashion Film". Also, in 2014, he shot "Non senza di me". The short film won the ASVOFF 2016 for Best Lead Actor, Max Tortora, and was among the five finalists for the Nastri D’Argento and among the four finalists for Best Short Film for the Golden Globes. In the same year he directed the advertising campaign for a brand in the fashion industry, an advertisement for an accessory brand and worked as assistant director of Matteo Garrone in the commercial of a car company. In 2015, he directed an advertisement starring Wim Wenders, presented at the Venice Film Festival. In 2018 he directed two commercials for an important brand in the fashion world.
