Thousands of youth at the Cittadella del Cinema to welcome Glee star Lea Michele. Actress has greeted her fans performing the hit song "Don't stop believin'"

Thousands of youth have been swarming into the Cittadella del Cinema to welcome Glee actress Lea Michele, who’s going to be the outright star of the third day of the “Be Different” edition.

She got enthusiastic reception and greeted her fans - come in large numbers from all over Italy – performing the hit song "Don't stop believin'" from TV series Glee.

“I’m so excited for the Giffoni Film Festival today . Getting ready now! Can’t wait to see you guys soon!” - she twitted this morning.

No wonder when her arrival was first announced on the Giffoni Film Festival official Facebook page the fans’ enthusiasm was almost uncontainable.

Appreciated for both her vocal and acting talents, Lea Michele has captivated audience and critics with her performace in the McKinney High School's Glee Club, obtaing the Satellite Award 2009, the Screen Actors Guild Award and a Teen Choice Award, in addition to two Golden Globe nominations and one Emmy nomination.

After the meet&greet, which has been reserved to 800 teenagers registered long time ago for the fear of missing this unique occasion – many of them spent the night in Cittadella in sleeping bags -  Lea Michele will meet Giffoni Experience jury members in Sala Truffaut this evening.
