War tensions, climate change, women's conditions, violence, bullying, but also human interaction with animals, adventure, the importance of friendship, the discovery of love and the construction of one's identity and social bonds: these are just a few of the themes addressed by the first titles selected for #Giffoni53, scheduled from July 20 to 29.

Following the first titles included in the official selection that have already ignited the excitement of the jurors,  #Giffoni2022, scheduled to be held from July 21 to 30, now announces new short and feature films from all over the world.

Body positivity, rebirth, freedom to love without labels, disability, friendship, magic, dreams, family relationships and delicate topics such as bulimia, anorexia and multiple sclerosis: these are just some of the subjects addressed by the first titles selected for #Giffoni2022, scheduled from July 21 to 30.

The freedom to grow up and follow one's own path, the value of friendship, the courage to face small and large fears, respect for diversity and also the great contemporary issues, dreams and intergenerational conflicts: these are some of the main themes of the productions in competition at the Winter Edition from Italy and all over Europe, as well as from the United States, Iran, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Russia, Turkey and Israel.

Up to 31 May 2019 it will be possible to submit films – features and shorts (both animated and not)  for the official selection of the 49th edition of theGiffoni Film Festival, scheduled 19 - 27 July 2019.

There are eleven Italian titles selected for the competition

Animated adventures and true stories, tales of love and friendship, war films and docs on immigration: the themes of the 101 selected films
