"The midnight sun" tells the story of seventeen year old Katie Price, played by Bella Thorne, a girl who has been struck by a rare disease since she was a little girl. The illness makes it lethal even to take the smallest amount of sunlight. During the day she is forced to stay indoors, but it is after sunset that the world of Katie comes to life, when she goes to the local train station to play the guitar in front of peoples. One night fate brings her to meet Charlie (Patrick Schwarzenegger), a former high school athlete, whom she has been secretly in love with for years. Bella decides to hide her illness, however, just when the two begin an overwhelming love story. After "The fault in our stars", "Me before you" and "We Are All", another wonderful story of love, inspired by the Japanese film "Song to the Sun", known in Japan as "Taiyo no Uta".
