BIOGRAPHY:

The American writer has a degree in creative writing and started her career in New York: Her first work was  The Betrayal of Natalie Hargrove which is third in the New York Times  Best Seller chart. But it was in 2009 with Fallen that kate made her big break, in fact the book has since then been published in 35 Countries and in the States by Random House. In 2010, Torment, her second book was published, with which Kate came first in the afore mentioned chart. The two initial books were soon followed by: Passion (2011), Rapture (2012) and will be followed by unforgiven which is coming out soon. The popular writer is currently working on the latest installment of the 'young adult fiction' saga which will be published in Italy by Rizzoli, and is set to be released on 10 November 2015. Her lively pen has also created the Teardrop trilogy (2013-2015), the novel Fallen in love (2012), 'spin off' containing the prologue and the first chapter of Rapture, and an e-book short story, prequel of Teardrop, called Last Day of Love (2013). She has a great passion for surfing, Shakespeare and cooking, Lauren Kate, likes to say that she loves meeting the readers of her 'Fantasy romances'. Last but not least, a new spin off of the saga called Angels in the Dark, is set to be released in Autumn.
