AMY ADAMS is one of the most celebrated actresses of her generation. She has been nominated for 5 Academy Awards for her work in "Junebug" (2005), "Doubt" (2008), "The Fighter" (2010), "The Master" (2012) and "American Hustle" (2013). She was born in 1974 in Vicenza in Italy to American parents.
She started her career as a dancer and made her big screen debut in 1999 in "Drop Dead Gorgeous" opposite Kirsten Dunst. She recently starred in Denis Villenueve’s "Arrival" (2016), and received Critics’ Choice, Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globes awards nominations on behalf of her role in the film as well as a “Best Actress” award by the National Board of Review. Adams won two consecutive Golden Globe awards for “Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy” for her roles in Tim Burton’s "Big Eyes" (2014) and David O. Russell's "American Hustle" (2013).

Ms. Adams will also reprise her role as Lois Lane in the upcoming DC Extended Universe feature "Justice League", directed by Zack Snyder.
