While waiting for the signing of the agreement on the Development and Cohesion Funds, on the final day of the newly launched event Giffoni Shock, Giffoni’s founder declared: “I can finally reassure everyone. Our story could not be halted. On Tuesday the draws for the juries will take place. I would like to thank President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca for his commitment and support”

Numbers often tend to provide a cold analysis of an event. But as far as Giffoni is concerned, numbers correspond with the people, with the hearts of those who loved this extraordinary edition, with the soul of those who contributed to making it unique for the ideas that emerged, for the values that it was able to foster: solidarity, integration, cohesion, the wish to be together.

The 53rd edition of the Giffoni Film Festival, dedicated to the theme of INDISPENSABILI, has officially come to an end.

“A wonderful experience and a great success in a place called happiness”: with these words, Giffoni’s founder Claudio Gubitosi has said goodbye to this edition – the number 53 - of the Giffoni Film Festival. He also announced the 54th edition: from the 19 to the 28 of July 2024.

Ninja Turtles: Mutant Chaos is a film directed by Jeff Rowe and Kyler Spears, and tells how the young Turtle brothers, after spending several years training in martial arts, re-emerge from their underground lair.

Last day of screenings in Sala Truffaut for the Generator+13 section of the 53rd edition of the Giffoni Film Festival. 

Damien Hauser's direction sparks a conversation in Sala Galileo: "Let us strive to talk about our insecurities to avoid negative and traumatic experiences.", where dozens of jurors watched Theo - A Conversation with Honesty. 

An undefined era, a non-place, a sense of estrangement: the astonishing effect of the “tale that never loses its touch of reality” is strongly pursued by director Olivier Babinet in the plot of NORMAL, the feature film competing in Generator +16.

The ninth day of the Festival begins in SALA TRUFFAUT with NORMAL for the GENERATOR +16 category.

Presented at the 53rd Giffoni Film Festival , Disney's new film "Haunted Mansion" will arrive in Italian theaters next August 23.
